NOVELTY - Preparation method of platinum-carbon catalyst, involves (a) preparing a mixed solution by adding 4-6 pts. wt. chloroplatinic acid hexahydrate, 1.1-1.4 pt. wt. carbon material, polyol and 10-55 pts. wt. protective agent to 100 pts. wt. water, uniformly stirring, adding an alkali to adjust the pH value to obtain a mixture with a pH value of 6-12, (b) pumping the mixture into the microchannel reactor for reaction through a pump to obtain a reaction product, and (c) washing the reaction product with ultrapure water, filtering under pressure to obtain a filter residue and a filtrate, and drying the filter residue in an oven to obtain a platinum-carbon catalyst. USE - The method is used for preparation of platinum-carbon catalyst (claimed) used in proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) used in automobile. ADVANTAGE - The method provides a high speed and high efficiency, low cost, technique environmentally-friendly synthesis method of platinum-carbon catalyst, and has large electrochemical active area and high stability. The method mainly uses water as solvent, avoids the problem caused by safety a large amount of alcohol solvent, and reduces the cost. The method carries out solid-liquid phase reaction in the microchannel reactor, greatly improves the efficiency of mass transfer heat transfer and improves the reaction efficiency.
