NOVELTY - Isotopic filtration module (110, 120, 130, 140) is manufactured by dispersing graphene oxide flakes in aqueous medium to form graphene oxide solution, applying graphene oxide solution to substrate to form laminated graphene oxide membrane (112, 122, 132, 142) with thickness of 0.1-10 mu m and comprising set of graphene oxide sheets coupled together, and positioning laminated graphene oxide membrane in filtration housing configured to be coupled with nuclear power plant waste water stream in which graphene oxide sheets are separated from adjacent graphene oxide sheet with distance 0.5-2 nm. USE - Manufacture of isotopic filtration module for filtering nuclear power plant waste water stream and separating isotopic forms of water (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Isotopic filtration module is simple and has improved thermal efficiency and filtration efficacy and less expensive filtration. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) filtering of nuclear power plant waste stream of water which involves receiving waste stream of water from nuclear power plant, heating waste stream to form gas, passing part of gas through greater than or equal to 1 laminated graphene oxide membrane, and separating gas into permeate and retentate in which waste stream comprises greater than or equal to 2 distinct isotopic forms of water, and permeate has increased concentration of light water relative to retentate; and (2) filtering of water according to its isotopic forms which involves directing stream comprising greater than or equal to 2 distinct isotopic forms of water into filtration module, passing part of stream through laminated graphene oxide membrane, and separating stream into permeate and retentate.
