NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene composite fiber assembly involves preparing graphene oxide precursor (A) by Hummers method using 325 mesh graphite powder, or ultrasonically pulverizing the graphene oxide precursor (A) to obtain graphene oxide precursor (B) having particle size of 1-2 mu m, or preparing high graphene oxide precursor (C) by changing the particle size of the graphene oxide powder, or mixing certain graphene oxide powder with hydrogen peroxide, stirring, heating to obtain graphene oxide nano sieve precursor (D), mixing graphene precursor, and sodium polystyrene sulfonate to obtain mixed solution, adding reducing agent, and acidic solution, stirring vigorously, heating, cooling, remove the graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene: polystyrenesulfonate fiber, soaking the fiber in sulfuric acid to obtain graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene composite fiber assembly, washing the fiber assembly using deionized water, fixing the washed fibers at both ends, and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene composite fiber assembly is used as fiber supercapacitor electrode, or as highly conductive porous carrier, highly active capacitor material for supporting metal compounds and conductive polymers and for improving capacitance performance (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite fiber assembly achieves effective regulation of the porous microstructure and electrical conductivity of the composite fiber when compared with the existing fiber. The preparation of composite fiber assembly is short, simple, and economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene composite fiber assembly involves preparing graphene oxide precursor (A) by Hummers method using 325 mesh graphite powder, or ultrasonically pulverizing the graphene oxide precursor (A) using cell pulverizer to obtain graphene oxide precursor (B) having particle size of 1-2 mu m, or preparing high graphene oxide precursor (C) having particle size of 1-2 mu m by changing the particle size of the graphene oxide powder, or mixing certain amount of graphene oxide powder with hydrogen peroxide, stirring, heating to obtain graphene oxide nano sieve precursor (D), mixing graphene precursor, poly 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene, and sodium polystyrene sulfonate to obtain mixed solution, adding reducing agent, and acidic solution, stirring vigorously until the solution gelatinizes, injecting the gelled mixture into capillary, heating, cooling to room temperature, remove the graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene: polystyrenesulfonate fiber, soaking the fiber in concentrated sulfuric acid, or polar organic solvent for 3-48 hours for removing polystyrenesulfonate fiber to obtain graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene composite fiber assembly, or treating mixed solution without adding reducing agent by hydrothermal treatment using sulfuric acid, immersing in reducing agent for certain period of time to obtain graphene/polyethylenedioxythiophene composite fiber assembly, washing the fiber assembly using deionized water, fixing the washed fibers at both ends, and drying at 55-85 degrees C.
