NOVELTY - A graphene oxide surface modification method involves dispersing graphene oxide into organic solvent for sonication process. Polymer and catalyst are added to the dispersed graphene oxide slurry and mixed. The mixture is added to an electromagnetic radiation equipment and is reacted at 80-120 degrees C for 20-50 minutes. USE - Method for surface modification of graphene oxide utilized in an electronic material and a sensor. ADVANTAGE - The method modifies the surface of graphene in a smooth and rapid manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for a method for manufacturing a graphene oxide-polymer nano-composite.
