NOVELTY - High performance graphite nanosheet reinforced magnesium-based composite material is prepared by mixing graphene nanosheet and zinc powder, ball-milling under rotating speed of 250-450 rpm for 6-12 hours to obtain graphite nanoplatelet (Gnp)-zinc composite powder in which mass ratio Gnp-zinc composite powder:Gnp is 10-15:1, adding magnesium-zinc alloy having zinc content of 2-6 mass%, melting at 530-630 degrees C, stirring for 10-20 minutes, mixing with 0.3-3 mass% Gnp, ultrasonically melting at 650-750 degrees C for 5-10 minutes having ultrasonic power of 500-800 W, and casting at 300-500 degrees C. USE - Preparation of high performance graphite nanosheet reinforced magnesium-based composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Preparation process is simple, and product has improved mechanical property and good wetting and dispersing property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - High performance graphite nanosheet reinforced magnesium-based composite material is prepared by mixing graphene nanosheet and zinc (Zn) powder, ball-milling under rotating speed of 250-450 rpm for 6-12 hours to obtain Gnp-Zn composite powder in which mass ratio Gnp-Zn composite powder:Gnp is 10-15:1, adding magnesium-Zn (Mg-Zn) alloy having Zn content of 2-6 mass%, melting at 530-630 degrees C, stirring for 10-20 minutes, mixing with 0.3-3 mass% Gnp, ultrasonically melting at 650-750 degrees C for 5-10 minutes having ultrasonic power of 500-800 W, casting at 300-500 degrees C under 100-150 MPa pressure, and solidifying.
