▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A coating material comprises an electroconductive pigment paste containing a pigment dispersion resin (A) containing a polar functional group(s) chosen from an amide group, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, and an amino group, and having a polar functional group concentration of 10-23 mmol/g, an electroconductive pigment (B) having an average primary particle diameter of 10-80 nm, and a solvent (C), and metal-containing particles containing a metallic element(s). The component (B) is a conductive carbon chosen from acetylene black, Ketjen Black (RTM: electroconductive carbon black), furnace black, thermal black, carbon nanotubes, graphene, and graphite. The absolute value of difference between the solubility parameter of the component (A) and the solubility parameter of the component (C) is less than 2. The electroconductive pigment paste shows 2 or more peaks having a peak top at a particle size of 150-550 nm, in a frequency distribution curve. USE - Material is used for forming coating film for forming electroconductive material (all claimed) e.g. metal material, plastic material, inorganic material such as glass, cement, and concrete, timber, textile material e.g. cloth, and paper. Can also be used for forming electromagnetic wave shield, display panel, touchscreen panel, colored sheet, cosmetic material, protective material, magnet modified material, printing ink, electronic device component, printed wiring board, solar cell, functional rubber material, and resin molding film. ADVANTAGE - The coating material has excellent dispersibility of pigment and storage stability, and low viscosity, even at high pigment concentration, and provides electroconductive coating film with excellent finishing property and solvent resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A coating material comprises an electroconductive pigment paste containing a pigment dispersion resin (A) containing a polar functional group(s) chosen from an amide group, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, and an amino group, and having a polar functional group concentration of 10-23 mmol/g, an electroconductive pigment (B) having an average primary particle diameter of 10-80 nm, and a solvent (C), and metal-containing particles containing a metallic element(s). The electroconductive pigment paste shows 2 or more peaks having a peak top at a particle size of 150-550 nm and a peak top at a particle size of 600-3000 nm, in a frequency distribution curve obtained by diluting the electroconductive pigment paste with a solvent and measuring the volume-based particle size distribution by a laser diffraction/scattering method. The ratio of total peak area at the particle size of 150-550 nm with respect to total peak area at the particle size of 600-3000 nm is 0.2-3. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the coating material, which involves adding the metal-containing particles to the electroconductive pigment paste; and (2) electroconductive material, which is obtained by coating the coating material on both surfaces of a plate-shaped base material.
