▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The impact shield structure has a capture layer (100) that absorbs debris incident. Preferably, the capture layer is provided between a first encapsulating layer and a second encapsulating layer respectively arranged on either side. The first encapsulating layer comprises a layer of graphene foam, a layer of ceramic metallic material, and/or the outer skin of a spacecraft. The second encapsulating layer comprises a layer of graphene foam. USE - Impact shield structure for use on lower earth orbit spacecraft. ADVANTAGE - Offers impact shield structure that absorbs incident projectiles instead of using shielding that is geared to prevent damage by armoring the underlying craft causing ricochets and fragmentation. Minimizes damage to underlying craft to prevent increase in ballistic projectiles caused by ricochets and fragmentation. Provides electromagnetic shield layer as portion of or within existing layer, or provided as stand-alone layer in its own right. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows the explanatory view of an impact shield structure. Capture layer (100) Platform (101) Exposed surface (103) Surface (105)
