NOVELTY - Synthesizing graphene oxide-eurpium hydroxide-cobalt hydroxide composite material comprises (i) mixing graphene oxide and deionized water, and ultrasonically dissolving to obtain solution, (ii) adding europium(III) chloride and cobaltous chloride hexahydrate into the prepared solution, to prepare mixed solution a, (iii) stirring the prepared mixture a at a constant temperature, and adjusting pH to obtain the mixture b, (iv) heating and stirring prepared mixed solution b, adding urea solution, and mixing to obtain solution c, (v) cooling and stirring the mixture c, adding sodium hydroxide, controlling the pH, stirring, filtering and washing to obtain neutral precipitate, washing neutral precipitate with ethanol into the hydrothermal reactor, cooling to obtain a product, and (vi) filtering and washing the obtained product with ethanol and deionized water to neutrality, transferring the neutral product to a petri dish, and drying the surface moisture of the filter residue. USE - The composite material is useful in catalytic degradation and in technical field of water treatment agents as catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product: has obvious catalytic effect. The method: has short reaction time, low dosage; and can be repeated. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Synthesizing graphene oxide-eurpium hydroxide-cobalt hydroxide composite material comprises (i) mixing graphene oxide and deionized water, and ultrasonically dissolving to obtain solution, (ii) adding europium(III) chloride and cobaltous chloride hexahydrate into the prepared solution, the mass ratio between europium and cobalt is 1:2, to prepare mixed solution a, (iii) stirring the prepared mixture a at a constant temperature, and adjusting pH value to obtain the mixture b, (iv) heating and stirring prepared mixed solution b, adding urea solution to control the pH value of the solution, and mixing to obtain solution c, (v) cooling and stirring the mixture c at room temperature, adding sodium hydroxide, controlling the pH value, stirring, filtering and washing until the pH value of the filtrate is neutral to obtain neutral precipitate, washing neutral precipitate with ethanol into the hydrothermal reactor, cooling to room temperature to obtain a product, and (vi) filtering and washing the obtained product with ethanol and deionized water to neutrality, transferring the neutral product to a petri dish, drying the surface moisture of the filter residue, placing in a vacuum drying oven and drying in oven to obtain final product.
