NOVELTY - A supported monolithic catalyst comprises integral block-shaped graphene carrier with medium-macro pore structure at range of 20-70 mu m and 4-7 nm, specific surface area of 300 m2/g and average radius of platinum particles of 5-7 nm. USE - Supported monolithic catalyst for formaldehyde catalytic oxidation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has catalytic activity, and has improved gas-solid phase reaction mass transfer rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of supported monolithic catalyst comprising taking 25 mL concentrated sulfuric acid, cooling to 0-2 degrees C, stirring, adding 0.5 g natural crystalline flake graphite, 0.5 g sodium nitrate and 3 g potassium permanganate particle, stirring, water bath heating at 35 plus minus 2 degrees C, stirring, adding 46 mL deionized water, stirring at 98 plus minus 2 degrees C for 15 minutes, adding 140 mL deionized water and 3 mL of 30 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide, reacting for 40 minutes, washing with 1-3 wt.% HCl solution and deionized water until neutral, centrifuging at rate of 2000 revolutions/minute (rpm) for 1-2 minutes, taking upper liquid, centrifuging at rate of 9000 rpm for 3-5 minutes, taking liquid, obtaining graphene oxide sol, carrying out hydrothermal reaction, pumping nitrogen gas, stirring for 30 minutes, sealing, cooling, filtering, freeze drying for 24 hours, obtaining integrated bulk graphene, setting as cathode, using platinum wire as anode, using chloroplatinic acid hexahydrate, sulfuric acid and deionized water, depositing at current density of 2-5 A/dm3 for 1-2 hours at 25-30 degrees C, washing with deionized water, soaking in 1-3 wt.% potassium carbonate solution for 12-20 hours, refrigerating for 4-5 hours, and freeze drying.
