NOVELTY - A lithium-ion battery cathode material comprises spinel lithium titanate nanotubes and carbon material. The spinel lithium titanate nanotubes are prepared by hydrothermal method. The specific surface area of spinel lithium titanate nanotubes is 100-200 m2/g. The carbon material is activated carbon, graphite and/or graphene. USE - Lithium-ion battery cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium-ion battery cathode material has excellent cycle stability, anti-overcharge performance and thermal stability, and is safe. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of lithium-ion battery cathode material.
