NOVELTY - Preparing porous carbon-supported europium oxide material involves uniformly dispersing porous carbon in absolute ethyl alcohol, adding europium nitrate solution under stirring and mixing uniformly, and then adding alkali to adjust pH to 7.5-9. The formed mixture is continuously stirred and reacted, where the obtained reaction product is separated, washed and dried to obtain the precursor. The obtained precursor is heated and calcined in nitrogen or inert atmosphere to obtain the composite material of porous carbon loaded europium oxide. USE - Method for preparing porous carbon-supported europium oxide material used as modification material for lithium-sulfur battery separators (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of porous carbon-supported europium oxide material with improved specific capacity and excellent cycle stability.
