NOVELTY - Preparing copper/ graphene composite material comprises carrying out one-time hydrothermal method, taking copper salt, graphene and reducing agent in proportion (1:0.5:0.4-1:2:9) and adding into a 100 ml beaker to fully dissolve, transferring solution into a constant temperature water bath, maintaining the temperature at 45℃, using a fixed concentration of alkaline solution to adjust to a fixed pH, moving it into a hydrothermal kettle for reaction (1-15 hours) at 100-200℃, and cooling the reaction kettle to room temperature after the reaction is completed , performing suction filtration, washing, and vacuum drying. USE - The material is useful for power transmission (wires or cables), electronics (electrical connectors), and aerospace (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The copper/ graphene composite material has excellent catalytic activity and activity stability for the hydroxylation reaction of phenol, high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. The method ensures one-time hydrothermal process has simple process, short time and low energy consumption.
