NOVELTY - Gamma irradiation resistant material comprises 80-150 pts. wt. high molecular polymer, 0.1-1 pt. wt. antistatic agent, 0.1-1 pt. wt. antioxidant, 0.5-5 pt. wt. light stabilizer, 1-5 pt. wt. filler, and 0.1-3 pts. wt. other additives, where the high molecular polymer is obtained by reacting polyether polyol and isocyanate, and the molar ratio of the polyether polyol to isocyanate is 1:1-2. USE - As gamma irradiation resistant material. ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent anti-static, anti-radiation properties and environmental performance, has excellent rigidity and toughness balance, physical and mechanical properties, chemical properties, and radiation resistance, and is resistant to gamma radiation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the gamma irradiation resistant material comprising (a) adding the polyether polyol into a reaction kettle at 120-140 degrees C, and reacting for 1-2 hours at a vacuum of 80-120 MPa, after cooling down to 70-90 degrees C, adding isocyanate, mixing and stirring evenly at 120-140 degrees C, reacting for 0.5-1 hours to obtain polyurethane prepolymer, (b) adding a chain extender to the reaction kettle of the above step (a), and after reacting at 80-90 degrees C for 0.5-1 hour, quickly adding the contents of the reaction kettle into an oven and baking at a temperature of 100-120 degrees C for 3-6 hours to obtain high molecular polymer, (c) mixing the high molecular polymer, antistatic agent, antioxidant, light stabilizer, filler and other auxiliary agents uniformly through a high-speed mixer to obtain mixed components, and (d) melting and blending the mixed components through an internal mixer, and extruding through an extruder to obtain the product.
