NOVELTY - An inorganic graphene sheets are dissolved in distilled water, and ultrasonic-dispersed, to obtain a suspension of graphene sheets. The suspension of graphene sheets is added to soluble calcium salt solution, to obtain mixed solution. The mixed solution is stirred. A solution of soluble carbonate is added to resulting mixed solution and stirred, to obtain soluble carbonate solution. The soluble carbonate solution is stirred, to obtain cloudy solution. The obtained product is collected, washed and dried, to obtain cubic-shaped micron-level calcium carbonate particles. USE - Preparation of cubic-shaped micron-level calcium carbonate particles (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables economical and environmentally-friendly preparation of cubic-shaped micron-level calcium carbonate particles with uniform particle size distribution and high monodispersity, by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An inorganic graphene sheets are dissolved in distilled water and ultrasonic-dispersed, to obtain a suspension of graphene sheets. The suspension of graphene sheets is added to soluble calcium salt solution, to obtain mixed solution with calcium ion concentration of 0.1-0.9 mol/L and graphene sheet concentration of 0.1-1 mg/mL. The mixed solution is stirred at room temperature. A solution of soluble carbonate is added to resulting mixed solution and stirred, to obtain soluble carbonate solution with carbonate ion concentration of 0.1-0.9 mol/L. The soluble carbonate solution is stirred at room temperature for 15-120 seconds, to obtain cloudy solution. The cloudy solution is maintained at room temperature for 30-90 minutes. The obtained product is collected by suction filtration, washed with distilled water and dried, to obtain cubic-shaped micron-level calcium carbonate particles.
