NOVELTY - Preparing single-atom noble metal/graphene catalyst comprises performing electrochemical intercalation and ultrasonic stripping of graphite, so that noble metal salt is supported on grapheme and reducing by microwave radiation. USE - The catalyst is useful for toluene hydrogenation. ADVANTAGE - The method generates methylcyclohexane, which exhibits high activity. The high catalyst has high selectivity and high stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for single-atom noble metal/graphene catalyst prepared as mentioned above.
