NOVELTY - The manufacture of graphene oxide involves (1) injecting graphite and acid to reactor, (2) reacting at 0-20 degrees C for 20-120 minutes, producing reactant (I), (3) ultrasonically processing reactant (I) at 25-90 degrees C for 2-6 hours, producing reactant (II), (4) refining the reactant (II) and obtaining graphene oxide. USE - Manufacture of graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to shorten the reaction time with simple process, and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene oxide manufacturing device, which comprises supersonic vibration rod, mixer, cooling unit and reactor. The cooling unit is provided with a supply unit and vent for circulating the cooling water to the reactor for maintaining the temperature of reactor.
