▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An implant comprises a hydrogel bonded to a surface (S1) of the implant, an implant component having porous surface (S1), a crosslinked cellulose nanofiber network bonded to surface (S1) by a cement, and a hydrogel impregnated in the crosslinked cellulose nanofiber network to form a multiple-network hydrogel extending from surface (S1). The multiple-network hydrogel is secured to surface (S1) with a shear strength which is greater than 1 MPa. USE - Implant is used for repairing cartilage. ADVANTAGE - The implant utilizes the hydrogel that has a strength that approximates that of healthy cartilage bound to bone, and utilizes the porous nanofibrous network, which is dry when attaching, or hydrated, thus forming an interdigitating bond without the interference of water, and hence provides a cost-effective procedure that can immediately restore the mechanical function of cartilage while enabling long-term implantation of the implant. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method of attaching the hydrogel to a surface so that the hydrogel is secured to the surface with a shear strength of more than 1 MPa.
