NOVELTY - An electrothermal ceramic material comprises 50-60 wt.% silica, 20-30 wt.% alumina, 1-25 wt.% lithium-containing industrial salt, 1-8 wt.% zirconium oxide, 0.2-0.5 wt.% technetium oxide, and 0.5-1 wt.% cobalt oxide. USE - Electrothermal ceramic material is useful for preparing ceramic blanks used for heating elements (all claimed) e.g. heating sheet and high-temperature heating tubes. ADVANTAGE - The electrothermal ceramic material has fast heating property, uniform heating property, energy saving effect, and long service life, high heat conductivity, high heat-collecting property, high stability, and high heating temperature, is economical, and limits the same negative expansion value of the ceramic plate and the heating coating of different expansion value caused by ceramic plate cracking or damage, and improves the reliability of the heating plate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of electrothermal ceramic blank; and (2) heating element using the ceramic blank comprising a conductive coating, a heating coating, a live wire wiring terminal, and a neutral wire wiring terminal.
