▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Cementitious sealer comprises a hydrophobic sealer layer, and a first nanomaterials and a second nanomaterials coupled to the hydrophobic sealer layer, where the first nanomaterials and the second nanomaterials modifies the sealer chemistry and are arranged as a solid nanocavities configured to increase a water contact angle via a solid liquid-air interfaces. USE - The sealer is used for waterproofing a surface (claimed), and protecting cementitious substrates from deterioration, where the substrate is brick, masonry, ceramics, stones, concrete foundations, piles, piers, tunnels, pavements, bridge decks, and other concrete components or structures. ADVANTAGE - The sealer exhibits synergistically aid in enhancing the performance capabilities of the base sealer component to prevent/mitigate degradation of underlying cementitious materials, and synergistically improves its hydrophobicity and thus engineering performance, has improved sealer to preserve the integrity and durability of concrete structures subjected to environmental conditions, especially adverse harsh environmental conditions, provides for a reduction of at least 70% in both the water absorption coefficient and gas permeability coefficient of the mortar, is beneficially slow down the ingress of gaseous phases, and provides outstanding resistance to UV aging, moisture damage, and wear, and other chemical attacks (e.g., sulfate attack). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for waterproofing a surface, comprising sequentially or simultaneously coupling a first nanomaterials and a second nanomaterials to a hydrophobic sealer. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the experimental setup of a gas permeability test. 5Mortar specimen 10Reference character
