NOVELTY - Preparing carbon material comprises taking folium artemisiae argyi as raw material, pre-carbonizing, adding activating agent, stirring, low temperature carbonizing and cooling, washing, centrifuging, and drying. USE - The carbon material is useful in free radical scavenging, bacteriostasis and adsorption of cationic dye pollutants in wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon material: has better oxidation resistance, adsorption performance and antibacterial performance than the wormwood waste itself, excellent choice for the comprehensive utilization of wormwood and wormwood waste and the development of high value-added wormwood material products. The method is simple and utilizes economical biomass charcoal materials.
