NOVELTY - A graphene-reinforced composite polyester fiber comprises component A and component B. Component is graphene-free polyester. Component B is polyester fiber comprising 0.3-3 wt.% graphene. USE - Graphene-reinforced composite polyester fiber. ADVANTAGE - The composite polyester fiber has good antistatic and antibacterial properties, low cost, and high strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the graphene-reinforced composite polyester fiber, comprising: (A) mixing 1-10 pts. wt. ethylene glycol liquid and 0.5-5 pts. wt. graphene powder, then adding 0.5-5 pts. wt. dispersing agent and 1-3 pts. wt. coupling agent, stirring and grinding for 1-3 hours, ultrasonically dispersing resulting solution for 1-3 hours to prepare graphene ethylene glycol solution; (B) adding purified terephthalic acid into the graphene ethylene glycol solution and uniformly mixing, then adding polyester fiber, and uniformly mixing to obtain graphene-containing polyester slurry; (C) cooling slurry and granulating to prepare component B; and (D) taking graphene-free polyester, adding the component B, and performing composite spinning technique to form composite polyester fiber having parallel structure, skin-core structure or offset structure.
