NOVELTY - Dermal patch has a pair of sensing units configured for detecting analyte in a physiological sample. A microneedle is configured for puncturing the skin to allow collection of the physiological sample. A selector device selects sensing units for receiving a portion of collected physiological sample for its analysis. USE - Dermal patch for detection of physiological analytes. ADVANTAGE - The dermal patch ensures consumer safety, reduces and eliminates the risk of error, provides safety, enhanced sensitivity and/or specificity and valuable information regarding the occurrence, progression and/or amelioration of a disease condition, and allows measuring the level of a target analyte at a set of discrete times.
