NOVELTY - Purifying graphene oxide quantum dots involves: providing an aqueous solution of oxidized graphene quantum dots, mixing the aqueous solution with surfactant to form mixed solution, adding a non-polar solvent to the mixed solution, followed by extracting graphene oxide quantum dots, and drying by rotary evaporation or distillation at 25-100 degrees C. USE - For purifying graphene oxide quantum dots (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides highly pure graphene oxide quantum dots; and is simple, rapid, and highly suitable for large-scale production of graphene oxide quantum dots. Thus, the present method effectively overcomes the shortcomings of the prior art and has a high degree of industrial utilization value.
