NOVELTY - A polyamide-amine-type dendrimer surface-modified carbon material comprises a carbon material, and a polyamide-amine-type dendrimer grafted and supported on the carbon material through carbonyl-amine group. The average molecular weight of polyamide-amine-type dendrimer is 14000-21000. USE - Polyamide-amine-type dendrimer surface-modified carbon material is used as sulfur carrier for preparing sulfur composite electrode for lithium-sulfur battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyamide-amine-amine type dendritic macromolecule surface modified carbon material improves the sulfur utilization rate based on high conductivity of carbon material, using highly branched structure functionalized polyamide, and quickly realizes chemical adsorption of polysulfide, and reduces poly sulfide shuttle effect, thus effectively improving the battery cycle life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. preparation of the polyamide-amine-type dendritic polymer surface-modified carbon material, which involves mixing carbon material with an acidic solution to carry out surface modification treatment on the carbon material to obtain a modified carbon material, selecting a polyamide-amine dendrimer whose surface functional group is amine group (-NH2) or ester group (-COOCH3), and mixing the modified carbon material with the polyamide-amine dendrimer to carry out a grafting reaction; and 2. application of the polyamide-amine dendrimer surface-modified carbon material as a sulfur carrier to prepare a sulfur composite electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery. When the polyamide-amine dendritic polymer surface-modified carbon material is loaded with sulfur, the mass ratio of polyamide-amine dendrimer surface-modified carbon material and sulfur is 1:4-8.
