NOVELTY - A graphene-coated amorphous nanometer copper vanadate preparing method involves adding a dispersing agent and dihydrate copper nitrate into deionized water and stirring. Hydrazine hydrate is added into the prepared solution and stirred until the obtained solution is yellow. Centrifugal separation is performed on the prepared product, washed and dispersed to the deionized water. Ammonium metavanadate solution and graphene solution are added, centrifuged, washed and placed in an oven for drying and in a vacuum chamber to remove crystal water to obtain the finished product. USE - Method for preparing a graphene-coated amorphous nanometer copper vanadate that is utilized in a lithium ion battery cathode active material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables improving electrochemical performance of copper vanadate, and effectively improving material conductivity and cycling stability of the active material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene-coated amorphous nanometer copper vanadate preparing method involves adding a dispersing agent and dihydrate copper nitrate into deionized water and stirring. Hydrazine hydrate is added into the prepared solution and stirred until the obtained solution is yellow. Centrifugal separation is performed on the prepared product, washed and dispersed to the deionized water, and ammonium metavanadate solution and graphene solution are added and uniformly stirred. The obtained product is subjected to a centrifugal separation, repeatedly washed by using deionized water and ethyl alcohol, and placed in an oven for drying and in a vacuum chamber to remove crystal water to obtain the finished product.
