NOVELTY - Solubilizing process of graphite, comprises: reducing graphite by an alkali metal to obtain a graphite intercalation compound; and exposing the graphite intercalation compound to an aprotic polar solvent to give a reduced graphene solution, where the process is carried out under inert atmosphere. USE - The graphene is useful for the preparation of composite materials. The graphene is useful for the preparation of electronic and microelectronic components, preferably capacitor or transistor. The reduced graphene solution is useful for deposition of graphene on a substrate (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process is cost effective to solubilize graphite. The process provides reduced graphene solution with large quantity and high purity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) graphene obtained, in the step of evaporation of aprotic polar solvent, by the process; (2) reduced graphene solution obtained by the process; (3) use of graphene for the preparation of composite materials; and (4) use of a reduced graphene solution for deposition of graphene on a substrate.
