NOVELTY - Ferrous sulfate and sodium borohydride are mixed to obtain a solid medium. Polyphenol, agar, and aqueous solution of water-soluble starch are mixed to obtain a liquid medium. The liquid medium and the solid medium are mixed, reacted, reaction product is washed with absolute ethanol, and dried in vacuum oven, to obtain nano zero valent iron. Modified graphene oxide is added to water and ultrasonically-dispersed to obtain graphene oxide suspension. Then, nano zero valent iron is added to suspension, stirred, filtered, washed and dried to obtain heavy metal adsorbent. USE - Preparation of adsorbent used for adsorbing heavy metal ions from wastewater in water treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides adsorbent having heavy metal adsorption capacity increased by 1-2 times. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Predetermined amount of ferrous sulfate and sodium borohydride are mixed in a mortar for 10 minutes to obtain a solid medium. Polyphenol, agar, and aqueous solution of water-soluble starch are mixed to obtain a liquid medium. The liquid medium and the solid medium are mixed in mass ratio 10-25:1, reacted at 20-25 degrees C for 2 hours, reaction product is washed thrice with absolute ethanol, and dried in vacuum oven, to obtain nano zero valent iron. 2-4 mg Graphene oxide is dissolved in L ethanol and mixed. 1 Part mass 2,4-dichloro-benzoyl peroxide is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes, 1 part mass benzophenone is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes, and 5 parts mass 6-ethoxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydro quinoline is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes. Then, 10 parts mass vinyltrimethoxysilane is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes, 5 parts mass N-methylpyrrolidone is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes, 10 parts mass neopentyl glycol propoxylate diacrylate is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes, 10 parts mass a melamine resin is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes, 5 parts mass 2-ethylhexyl acrylate is added after stirring for 5-10 minutes and allowed to standstill at 30-40 degrees C for 1-2 hours and the solid material is filtered and washed with ethanol and deionized water rinse for four times interval, dried at 25-35 degrees C to obtain modified graphene oxide. The modified graphene oxide is added to water and ultrasonically-dispersed for 1-3 hours to obtain graphene oxide suspension. Then, nano zero valent iron is added, stirred, filtered, washed and dried to obtain heavy metal adsorbent. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for usage method of heavy metal adsorbent in water treatment, which involves adding 1-2 g heavy metal adsorbent to 1 L water, controlling the temperature of the aqueous solution to 20-30 degrees C, fully absorbing and shaking until the reaction is complete, filtering using membrane and removing heavy metal ions in aqueous solution.
