NOVELTY - Manufacture of red mud-modified high toughness polyethylene hollow wall winding pipe involves adding zinc oxide-modified graphene conductive sol, 40-60 pts. wt. activated red mud powder, 100-200 pts. wt. polyethylene mixed resin, 6-12 pts. wt. bisphenol A type epoxy resin, 10-20 pts. wt. modified hydroxysilicone oil, 6-12 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 1-3 pts. wt. lubricant, 3-9 pts. wt. flame retardant, 0.5-1.5 pt. wt. antioxidant, 1-3 pts. wt. coupling agent, and 1-3 pts. wt. additive to a mill, uniformly stirring to 140-180 degrees C, reacting for 15-60 minutes to obtain red mud modified polyethylene composite material, adding the obtained composite material to a twin-screw extruder, performing pressure plasticization, extruding in a molten state, winding, and welding. The activated red mud powder is obtained by drying red mud, crushing, grinding with 100-300 mesh-sieve to obtain red mud powder, calcining the red mud powder, kneading, and activating. USE - Manufacture of red mud-modified polyethylene hollow wall winding pipe. ADVANTAGE - The method is environmentally-friendly, and enables simple, efficient and economical manufacture of red mud-modified polyethylene hollow wall winding pipe with high toughness, and excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, crosslinking density and water resistance, and low surface energy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of red mud-modified high toughness polyethylene hollow wall winding pipe involves adding zinc oxide-modified graphene conductive sol, 40-60 pts. wt. activated red mud powder, 100-200 pts. wt. polyethylene mixed resin, 6-12 pts. wt. bisphenol A type epoxy resin, 10-20 pts. wt. modified hydroxysilicone oil, 6-12 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 1-3 pts. wt. lubricant, 3-9 pts. wt. flame retardant, 0.5-1.5 pt. wt. antioxidant, 1-3 pts. wt. coupling agent, and 1-3 pts. wt. additive to a mill, uniformly stirring to 140-180 degrees C, reacting for 15-60 minutes to obtain red mud modified polyethylene composite material, adding the obtained composite material to a twin-screw extruder, performing pressure plasticization, extruding in a molten state, winding, and welding. The zinc oxide-modified graphene conductive sol is obtained by adding 10-20 pts. wt. polymethacrylic acid to 40-60 pts. wt. ethyl acetoacetate, stirring in a mixer for 2-3 hours, adding 3-5 pts. wt. vinyl silane coupling agent, 6-8 pts. wt. nano-zinc oxide and 8-12 pts. wt. graphene powder, ultrasonically treating for 30-40 minutes, adding 1-3 pts. wt. cellulose acetate butyrate, 1-2 pts. wt. sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate and 1-3 pts. wt. N-methyldiethanolamine, and stirring for 4-6 hours.
