NOVELTY - Improvement of fluidity of electrode slurry involves using a binder including a vinylidene fluoride copolymer comprising a vinylidene fluoride monomer and at least one alkene comonomer (I). USE - Improvement of fluidity of electrode slurry (claimed) for lithium battery. ADVANTAGE - The method improves fluidity of electrode slurry such that it is suitable for preparing a slurry system with high solid content. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Improvement of fluidity of electrode slurry involves using a binder including a vinylidene fluoride copolymer comprising a vinylidene fluoride monomer and at least one alkene comonomer of formula (I). R1-R3 = H, halo, 1-10C alkyl, or 1-10C haloalkyl;and R4 = 1-10C alkyl or 1-10C haloalkyl. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for electrode slurry, which comprises the vinylidene fluoride copolymer, an organic solvent, a powder electrode material, and additives for imparting electroconductivity.
