▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Catalytic oxidation of ethylene glycol to produces glyoxal using composite silver comprises (i) packing the composite silver catalyst in 3-5 layers in the reaction section of the catalytic reactor; (ii) at 300-600°C, ethylene glycol is vaporized and sent into the reactor with air and water vapor for oxidation reaction to generate glyoxal products; where, the composite silver catalyst in N-doped heterographene, used as a carrier, loaded with cobalt and silver nanoparticles; the S2 oxidation reaction is carried out in the presence of nitrogen, and the molar ratio of nitrogen to ethylene glycol is controlled at (40-50):1; molar ratio of oxygen in the air and ethylene glycol is controlled at (1.25-1.35): 1; the liquid hourly space velocity of ethylene glycol on the catalyst is 6-50/hour. USE - The method is useful for catalytic oxidation of ethylene glycol to produces glyoxal using composite silver. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the catalytic activity.
