NOVELTY - Preparing heat-insulating cement comprises (i) taking 80-100 pts. wt. butyl rubber, 80-100 pts. wt. tackifier, 20-30 pts. wt. modified glass fiber. 40-60 pts. wt. softening agent, 200-300 pts. wt. filling agent, 100-200 pts. wt. modified filler, 200-300 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 8-10 pts. wt. plant essential oil as raw materials, (ii) plasticating the butyl rubber, (iii) kneading and extruding the plasticated butyl rubber with remaining raw materials and packaging. USE - The method is useful for preparing heat-insulating cement. ADVANTAGE - The cement has excellent heat preservation performance.
