NOVELTY - Graphene oxide is added to ethanol solution, ultrasonically agitated, and graphene oxide is uniformly dispersed in solution to obtain ethanol suspension of graphene oxide. Polystyrene powder and ethanol suspension are mixed, decompressed, distilled under ultrasonic stirring, filtered and dried, to obtain nano graphene oxide-coated polystyrene composite particles. The composite particles are hot-pressed at 180-200 degrees C for more than 5 minutes, and cooled to room temperature to obtain polystyrene composite film. USE - Manufacture of polystyrene composite film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polystyrene composite film is easily and economically manufactured with high oxygen gas barrier property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene oxide is added to ethanol solution, ultrasonically agitated, and graphene oxide is uniformly dispersed in solution to obtain ethanol suspension of graphene oxide. Polystyrene powder and ethanol suspension are mixed in weight ratio of 98-99.5:0.5-2, decompressed, distilled under ultrasonic stirring, filtered and dried at 60 degrees C in drum wind drying box until the content of the solvent is less than 0.01%, to obtain nano graphene oxide-coated polystyrene composite particles. The composite particles are hot-pressed at 180-200 degrees C for more than 5 minutes, and cooled to room temperature to obtain polystyrene composite film.
