NOVELTY - Environmentally-friendly modified asphalt comprises 70-80 pts. wt. matrix asphalt, 6-8 pts. wt. petroleum resin, 1-2 pts. wt. octyl phenolic vulcanized resin, 4-6 pts. wt. styrene-butadiene-styrene modifier, 8-10 pts. wt. rubber powder, 1-3 pts. wt. tourmaline powder; 4-5 pts. wt. nano zinc oxide, 8-10 pts. wt. talc, 0.5-1 pts. wt. sodium stearoyl lactylate and 0.4-1 pts. wt. modified heat-resistant thermally conductive wood fiber. The preparation of the modified heat-resistant heat-conducting wood fiber comprises e.g. washing and drying the wood fibers, carrying out semi-carbonization treatment to obtain semi-carbonized wood fibers, spraying a heat-resistant and thermally conductive coating on the surface of the semi-carbonized wood fiber to obtain a heat-resistant and thermally conductive coating, adhering thermally conductive activated carbon particles to the surface of the heat-resistant and thermally conductive coating and curing. USE - The environmentally-friendly modified asphalt is useful as main road material for airport road and residential road. ADVANTAGE - The environmentally-friendly modified asphalt: has low temperature sensitivity and improved viscosity, low temperature performance, temperature stability, toughness, elasticity, compatibility, wear and heat resistance, thermal conductivity, bonding force and performance; utilizes the waste resource and regeneration resource; and is economical. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing environmentally-friendly modified asphalt, comprising (i) heating the matrix asphalt to a flowing state at 160-180 degrees Celsius, stirring and mixing the petroleum resin, octyl phenolic vulcanized resin, styrene-butadiene-styrene modifier, rubber powder, tourmaline powder, nano-zinc oxide and talc uniformly to obtain the first mixture; and (ii) adding the first mixture with sodium stearoyl lactylate and modified heat-resistant heat-conducting wood fiber in a state of stirring, heating to 185-190degrees Celsius, stirring and mixing evenly.
