NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-coated ferric molybdate nanoparticles comprises mixing cyclohexane and cyclohexanol/n-amyl alcohol, adding surfactant, mixing, dissolving ferric nitrate in deionized water, dissolving ammonium heptamolybdate in deionized water, adding to surfactant solution, mixing, filtering, centrifuging, washing, drying, heating, cooling, adding water and graphene solution, stirring, centrifuging, filtering, washing, and drying. USE - Method for preparing graphene-coated ferric molybdate nanoparticles used for sodium ion battery cathode material (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has increased circulation properties and long useful life.
