NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide/mesoporous titanium dioxide composite material involves dissolving 4-6 pts. wt. polyethylene glycol in 75-85 pts. wt. distilled water, adding 15-25 pts. wt. titanium sulfate, stir for 30-40 minutes, and then slowly adding 7-9 pts. wt. graphene oxide, ultrasonically treating for 1.5-2.5 hours, stirring for 40-50 minutes, hydrothermally reacting the sample at 100-105 degrees C for 25-27 hours, cooling to room temperature, washing with ethanol and distilled water 3-5 times, drying at 55-65 degrees C for 5-7 hours, and then cooling. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide/mesoporous titanium dioxide composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene oxide/mesoporous titanium dioxide composite material has strong adsorption and photocatalytic activity for methyl orange solution, high degradation rate, and can be prepared on a large scale.
