NOVELTY - A graphene-metal oxide composite material comprises 0.1-30 wt.% graphene oxide, 40-99.85 wt.% cerium or zirconium salt, 0.01-300 wt.% hydrazine and 0.03-40 wt.% additive. USE - Graphene-metal oxide composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-metal oxide composite material has high strength, high temperature resistance and specific surface area, catalytic activity, luminescence and electroconductivity, and is simple and lightweight. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene-metal oxide composite material, which involves diluting graphene oxide material using deionized water, obtaining graphene oxide solution by ultrasonically dispersing, adding cerium or zirconium salt, obtaining mixed solution by ultrasonically dispersing, adding additive, ultrasonically dispersing the mixed solution until the solution is clear without particles, adding hydrazine hydrate, adjusting pH by adding aqueous ammonia, stirring, cooling to room temperature, obtaining solid by centrifugation, separating solid by filtering solids, washing solid using deionized water to neutral, and drying.
