NOVELTY - Solvent-resistant polyimide separation membrane i.e. N1-(2-(2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethylamino)ethyl)-4-(4-(2-(2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethylamino)ethylcarbamoyl)-3-carbamoylbenzoyl)-N2-phenylphthalamide compound (I) is new. USE - (I) is useful in liquid includes water or organic solvent as a medium filtration (claimed), and in surface modification for improving the load fastness of graphene oxide on the surface, solvent resistance and the hydrophilicity. ADVANTAGE - The method: has simple process; and (I): improves inter-layer spacing and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Solvent-resistant polyimide separation membrane i.e. N1-(2-(2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethylamino)ethyl)-4-(4-(2-(2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethylamino)ethylcarbamoyl)-3-carbamoylbenzoyl)-N2-phenylphthalamide compound of formula (I) is new.
