▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Strengthening activated carbon to remove perfluorocarboxylic acid in water by using modified method comprises (1) pre-treating the activated carbon, where the pretreatment process comprises alkali washing and acid washing, (2) transferring the pretreated activated carbon in the step (1) to graphene oxide solution to prepare graphene oxide-loaded activated carbon, and (3) transferring the graphene oxide-loaded activated carbon to sulfite solution or bisulfite solution, reacting under the condition of ultraviolet light, and modifying by reduction to prepare the modified activated carbon. USE - The activated carbon is useful for removing perfluorocarboxylic acid in water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: strengthens the adsorption efficiency of the activated carbon to the perfluorocarboxylic acid by regulating the polarity of the surface of the activated carbon; significantly improves the removal rate of the perfluorocarboxylic acid in water after the activated carbon is modified by the above method; is simple and efficient; and has mild reaction conditions, low equipment requirements, environmental protection and no secondary pollution. The activated carbon has excellent removal effect of perfluorocarboxylic acid in water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for modified activated carbon prepared by the modified method for strengthening activated carbon to remove perfluorocarboxylic acid in water.
