NOVELTY - Preparing hydrogen adsorbent involves weighing 20-30 pts. wt. magnesium powder, 10-13 pts. wt. iron powder, 4-12 pts. wt. modified graphene and 60-70 pts. wt. tetrahydrofuran, adding magnesium powder, iron powder, modified graphene and tetrahydrofuran into the ball milling tank, introducing hydrogen into the ball milling tank to maintain the pressure in the ball milling tank i.e. 0.4- 0.8MPa, then ball milling for 20-30h under the condition of the ball milling speed is 400-500r/min, centrifuging the reaction product after finishing ball milling, placing the precipitate in a vacuum drying box, drying for 8-10h at the temperature of 60-70℃ to obtain the hydrogen adsorbent. USE - Method for preparing hydrogen adsorbent. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare hydrogen adsorbent which is used to solve the problem that the existing hydrogen storage materials are prone to agglomeration of fine particles during the process of doping modification and ball milling nanometerization, ensures high specific surface area, improves hydrogen contact area, hydrogen absorption capacity and hydrogen reaction activity.
