NOVELTY - Zinc cathode comprises an ion and electron mixed conductor coated on the surface of a zinc cathode substrate for conducting ion and electron transport. The ion and electron mixed conductor includes an ionic conductor material and an electronic conductor material. USE - The electrode is useful for water-based zinc-based battery. ADVANTAGE - The zinc cathode is simple and wide application range technology, which effectively inhibits the growth of dendritic crystal in the circulation process of the cathode, inhibits the occurrence of side reaction, stabilizes the interface of the electrode/electrolyte, prolongs the service life of the battery, and improves the electrochemical performance of battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: preparation method of zinc cathode spin coating machine; and water-based zinc-based battery based on the zinc cathode.
