▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The filter has a nanorod array radially formed on a surface of a strand-shaped substrate in a longitudinal direction, and a porous photocatalyst layer formed on the nano-rod array. The porous photo-catalyst layer is formed by coating a porous layer on the nanorode array to form a physical trapping structure in the form of an air pocket. The thickness of the porous layer is in a range of 200 to 800 nanometers. The porous first photocatalyst layer is formed of a thin film plate having a flower petal shape. The thin-film plate is a hexagonal thin-film plate. USE - Photocatalytic filter for removing contaminants, specifically VOCs, particularly aromatic components such as toluene in gaseous medium, such as indoor air. ADVANTAGE - The photocatalytic filter has excellent decomposition efficiency for low concentration pollutants and high concentration pollutants. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing a photocatalytic filter; and (2) a method for removing contaminants in a gaseous medium. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a photographic view of a photocatalytic filter. (Drawing includes non-English language text).
