NOVELTY - Hard/soft magnetic composite ferrite wave absorbing agent comprises a hard magnetic phase for absorbing millimeter wave and a soft magnetic phase for absorbing centimeter wave. The hard magnetic phase is zirconium-doped barium ferrite, and the soft magnetic phase is ferroferric oxide. USE - Used as hard-soft magnetic composite ferrite wave absorbing agent. ADVANTAGE - The wave absorbing agent has excellent millimeter wave-centimeter compatible absorption efficiency, has more hard/soft magnetic phase interface, can enhance the hard/soft magnetic exchange effect coupling as to further widen the magnetic loss range, strengthen the interface polarization relaxation phenomenon, improve the dielectric loss, and exhibits more excellent comprehensive wave-absorbing performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Hard/soft magnetic composite ferrite wave absorbing agent comprises a hard magnetic phase for absorbing millimeter wave and a soft magnetic phase for absorbing centimeter wave. The hard magnetic phase is zirconium-doped barium ferrite, and the soft magnetic phase is ferroferric oxide. The zirconium-doped barium ferrite having formula of BaZrx(Fe12-x)O19. x = 0.1-0.2. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing the hard/soft magnetic composite ferrite wave absorbing agent comprising (i) using nitrate of iron, barium and zirconium as metal precursor, preparing mixed metal nitrate solution; (ii) adding sodium hydroxide solution in the mixed metal nitrate solution to obtain alkaline mixed solution; (iii) adding graphene oxide dispersion liquid in the alkaline mixed solution, fully stirring and mixing, placing in the reaction kettle for hydrothermal reaction in a sealed environment; and (iv) washing the precipitate after the hydrothermal reaction, drying to obtain the precursor powder, and then performing heat treatment of the precursor powder under the nitrogen atmosphere to obtain zirconium-doped barium ferrite/ferroso ferric oxide composite ferrite wave absorbing agent.
