NOVELTY - Hexagonal columnar zinc oxide graphene piezoelectric photocatalytic material comprises zinc oxide exhibits hexagonal columnar morphology and dispersed on graphene sheet. USE - The hexagonal columnar zinc oxide graphene piezoelectric photocatalytic material is useful as antibacterial agent, and as catalyst for decomposing organic matter in dark environment (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The hexagonal columnar zinc oxide graphene piezoelectric photocatalytic material: has hexagonal columnar structure, controllable shape, stable structure, high catalytic efficiency, and excellent piezoelectric photoelectric catalytic effect. The method: is simple and environmental-friendly; has low cost; and facilitates mass production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing hexagonal columnar zinc oxide graphene piezoelectric photocatalytic material, comprising (i) uniformly mixing graphene oxide with pure water, and performing ultrasonic dispersion, (ii) uniformly mixing zinc acetate and pure water, (iii) mixing and stirring the solution of step (i) and the solution of step (ii), then adding aqueous ammonia to adjust the pH, and heating to boil to react, and (iv) separating the reaction product, and washing to obtain final product.
