NOVELTY - A functionalized graphene oxide modified composite gel electrolyte comprises 1 pts. wt. functionalized graphite oxide, 300-1000 pts. wt. polymer matrix and 450-1500 pts. wt. lithium carbonate solution, where the functionalized graphene oxide is graphene oxide and dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride in a weight ratio of 1:1. USE - Functionalized graphene oxide modified composite gel electrolyte for a lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The functionalized graphene oxide modified composite gel electrolyte provides lithium ion battery having high conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing functionalized graphene oxide modified composite gel electrolyte, which involves mixing dispersing graphite oxide in dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride aqueous solution, filtering, stirring at 25-30 degrees C for 2-30 minutes, washing till there is no chlorine ion in the resultant product, drying in the oven at 30-40 degrees C to obtain functionalized graphene oxide solid, preparing fluoric polyamide and sulfonamide polymer, dispersing functionalized graphene oxide uniformly in lithium carbonate solution, mixing at 25-30 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, volatilizing naturally to obtain functionalized graphene oxide modified composite gel electrolyte.
