NOVELTY - The lithium ion battery has an anode, cathode and a separator in between the cathode and the anode. A coating layer is formed on an anode current collector. The coating layer consists of a mixture of anode material, binder, electric conduction agent, and solvent. The anode material consists of grains having a size in the nanometer range. The electric conduction agent contains graphene. A cathode current collector consists of a coating layer formed from a mixture of cathode material, binder, electric conduction agent and solvent. USE - Lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The electric conduction agent containing graphene is used in order to improve electric conductivity of anode and cathode, and reduce internal resistance of the battery. The lifetime of battery is extended by suppressing the generation of heat in the battery. The charging of the battery is performed quickly. The manufacturing cost of battery is reduced by eliminating the need for performing a special process.
