NOVELTY - Preparing silicon doped graphene comprises (i) placing the graphene in the deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing for 10-30 minutes, and drying to obtain pure graphene, (ii) placing the pure graphene in the absolute ethanol, sealing, and reacting for 30-60 minutes to obtain graphene suspension, (iii) adding sodium lauryl sulfate into the deionized water, slowly adding into the graphene suspension to obtain stable dispersion, (iv) slowly adding the ethyl silicate in a dropwise into the dispersion, sealing the microwave reaction for 2-4 hours, rapidly depressurizing and cooling to obtain silicon doped precipitate, (v) placing the silicon doped precipitate in a muffle furnace for reducing and sintering for 10-15 hours, and cooling to obtain silicon-doped graphene material, (vi) ultrasonicating the silicon doped graphene material in the absolute ethanol for 30-50 minutes, and drying to obtain pure silicon doped graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing silicon doped graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and convenient; is suitable for high volume synthesis; has excellent product stability.
