NOVELTY - The material comprises a graphene sheet provided with silicon nanometer particles. The silicon nanometer particles are distributed on a net-shaped carbon material of a laminated graphite structure. Mass ratio of the silicon nanometer particles and the carbon material is 1: 2-50. Size of each silicon nanometer particle is 400 nm. USE - Cathode material for a lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The material is simple in structure. The material ensures better conductivity, realizes lithium ion battery charging and discharging process and reduces occupied space of large silica particles so as to improve recycle performance of a lithium ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for preparing a cathode material of a lithium ion battery (2) a lithium ion battery.
