NOVELTY - Preparing composite flame-retardant fabric comprises mixing tetraethyl orthosilicate and absolute ethyl alcohol, stirring while adding ammonia-aqueous solution containing calcium chloride, and then adding polyethylene glycol under mixing and stirring uniformly to obtain uniform colorless transparent silica sol. The fabric is added into silica sol for soaking and rolling, aged at normal temperature to obtain sol-coated fabric. The sol coated with sol-gel is soaked in solution containing sodium carbonate, fully contacted to obtain fabric containing calcium carbonate, soaked fabric in chitosan-graphene solution and chitosan-graphene solution, and then dried at certain temperature. USE - Method for preparing composite flame-retardant fabric. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of environmentally-friendly flame-retardant surface material having excellent flame retardance.
