NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene oxide-modified titanium dioxide nanofiber involves (i) uniformly mixing flake graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid, and phosphoric acid, slowly adding potassium permanganate, stirring to obtain mixture, (ii) adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide to mixture, and stirring, (iii) separating and washing, and vacuum drying to obtain graphene oxide, (iv) dissolving polyvinylpyrrolidone in absolute ethanol, adding graphene oxide, acetic acid, and isopropyl titanate, and mixing to obtain a yellow transparent precursor solution. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide-modified titanium dioxide nanofiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of graphene oxide-modified titanium dioxide nanofiber with certain special structure, and stable performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene oxide-modified titanium dioxide nanofiber involves (i) uniformly mixing 2-5 pts. wt. flake graphite, 300-500 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid, and 30-60 pts. wt. phosphoric acid, slowly adding 15-20 pts. wt. potassium permanganate, stirring at 45-55 degrees C for 9-18 hours to obtain mixture, (ii) adding 300-500 pts. wt. deionized water and 20-50 pts. wt. 10-30% hydrogen peroxide to the mixture at 0-5 degrees C, and stirring for 5-10 minutes, (iii) separating and successively washing with deionized water, 10-30 wt.% hydrochloric acid, and absolute ethanol, and vacuum drying to obtain graphene oxide, (iv) dissolving 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. polyvinylpyrrolidone in 1-3 pts. wt. absolute ethanol, adding 0.001-0.01 pt. wt. graphene oxide, 1-5 pts. wt. acetic acid, and 1-5 pts. wt. isopropyl titanate, and mixing to obtain a yellow transparent precursor solution, (v) electrospinning the precursor solution in the environment at which the humidity is less than 40% to obtain graphene oxide/polyvinylpyrrolidone/titanium dioxide composite fiber, and (vi) heating the graphene oxide/polyvinylpyrrolidone/titanium dioxide composite fiber at 400-500 degrees C in an inert gas or nitrogen protection atmosphere.
