NOVELTY - The silicon and graphene-incorporated rechargeable lithium-ion battery comprises high-performance silicon composite anode, a cathode film and electrolyte. The anode and the cathode film are immersed in or partially immersed in the electrolyte. The anode is formed of a mixture of carbon coated silicon and graphene, formulated using a polymer binder. ADVANTAGE - Offers silicon and graphene-incorporated rechargeable lithium-ion battery with enhanced energy delivery and cycling life by employing high-performance silicon and graphene composite anode.
