The anode and the cathode film are immersed in or partially immersed in the electrolyte. The anode is formed of a mixture of carbon coated silicon and graphene, formulated using a polymer binder. USE - Silicon and graphene-incorporated rechargeable lithium-ion battery. ADVANTAGE - Offers silicon and graphene-incorporated rechargeable lithium-ion battery with enhanced energy delivery and cycling life by employing high-performance silicon and graphene composite anode. Obtains combination of superior rate capability, cycling life and improved volumetric capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for forming silicon/graphene-based anode.
